The Leisure and Emerging Arts Center will host this event in which athletes, clubs, technicians and sponsors will be rewarded on Friday, June 1st.
The Councilor for Sports, Javier Castejón, the President of the Federation of Taekwondo of the Region of Murcia, José Antonio Solano, and the President of the Vera Pinatar Club, Carlos Vera, today presented the regional Taekwondo gala to be held in the town the next Friday.
Sports Councilman, Javier Castejón, thanked the federation that chose San Pedro del Pinatar for the first time to host this event and praised the work of Vera Pinatar club in the promotion of taekwondo in the municipality.
For his part, the president of the Murcia Taekwondo Federation explained that in this gala awards will be awarded to the best athletes, coaches, clubs, sponsors and partners of 2017.
He also highlighted the level of the municipality in this discipline, and announced that Carlos Vera Quesada will be awarded, in the category of best child players, Vera Pinatar club in the best clubs and Carlos Vera in the best technical.
He also highlighted the good state of form of the regional taekwondo, which last year added nearly 2,000 new licenses.
For his part, Carlos Vera added that the gala will be a space to bring taekwondo to everyone who wants to attend, and that it will be a fun and entertaining event that will include exhibitions, live music, etc.
