The day of June 29, Big Day of the festivities of San Pedro del Pinatar, started with the musical target through the streets of the town, at 08:00 hours and continued at 10:30 am with the mass in honor the patron, officiated by Gil José Sáez Martínez, Vicar of the Judiciary and concelebrated with seven other priests linked to the town.
In addition, the Brotherhood of San Pedro Apóstol presented the medals to the new brothers and two honors were awarded to the couple formed by Julián López and Faustina Martínez and Saturnina Esteban Delgado.
In the afternoon, after the celebration of an orchard mass in the church of San Pedro Apóstol, the brothers of the brotherhood of San Pedro Apóstol and a group of members of the Roman Third Hermenegildo Fresneda Pujol, carried on their shoulders the image of the patron.
Thus, faithful, neighbors, the queens of the parties, local authorities, the Cornetas band and drums of the Brotherhood of the Apostle San Pedro and the municipal music band "Unión Musical" accompanied yesterday, in procession through the most central streets of the municipality , in the image of Saint Peter the Apostle.
The procession was closed by the Board of Directors of the Brotherhood, the mayor of the municipality, Visitación Martínez, and the Minister of Development, Patricio Valverde, accompanied by members of the Municipal Corporation and civil and military authorities.
The acts in honor of the patron were closed with the concert led by Bartolomé Martínez García of the municipal band "Union Musical" in the Plaza de la Constitución, during the same, they gave the mayor a distinction as a member of honor.
After the concert, the shot of a musical pyrotechnic castle, at midnight, next to the church of the Holy Trinity and Rasel's concert "Desmadre Latin Show" put the end to the Big Day of the Festivities of San Pedro del Pinatar .
