This service, co-financed by the City Council and the Family and Equal Opportunities Council, aims to facilitate reconciliation and the incorporation of women into the labor market.
The Minister of Family and Equality of Opportunities, Violante Tomás, the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, the councilor for Education, Guadalupe García, and the general director of Women, Alicia Barquero, visited the summer schools of the municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar, co-financed by the Autonomous Community, within the framework of the regional strategy of conciliation and co-responsibility.
This service is offered during the months of July and August in Los Pinos and Los Antolinos, from 09:00 to 14:00, aimed at children from 3 to 12 years old, with 225 places in July and 163 in the month of August. .
The Summer School, which this year manages the Community Development Institute, involves an investment of 34,530.75 euros, of which the Autonomous Community subsidizes 10,570 euros.
Among other novelties, this year the summer schools have a morning classroom starting at 08:00 hours, in addition to different workshops and activities.
This year the regional government allocated 402,000 euros to subsidize the municipalities the implementation of municipal conciliation services.
Among these services are projects of schools in non-school periods, such as the case of San Pedro del Pinatar, extension of morning and evening hours in educational centers and other municipal facilities, extracurricular activities and babysitting services in municipal facilities.
