The City Council approves the bases of study grants for excellent students, mobility and material (23/08/2018)

The Department of Education allocates a course 30,000 euros in aid for the acquisition of school material in the second cycle of early childhood education, training cycles and high school;

mobility mobility aids, and academic excellence;

in addition to the endowment to the municipal book bank.

The Local Government Board has approved this week the bases of financial aid that each school year calls the Department of Education for the acquisition of school materials, mobility and excellent students, for a value of 30,000 euros, in order to help the families from Pinar del Rio at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year.

Thus, 10,000 euros are allocated to 200 grants of 50 euros for the acquisition of school material in early childhood education.

Those interested can apply for this benefit from September 13 to 21 in the Department of Education.

Also 4,950 euros are allocated to 66 grants of 75 euros for material of students of training and baccalaureate who study at centers in San Pedro del Pinatar.

The mobility of students of training and baccalaureate courses in specialties not taught in the town and of university students is endowed with 10,050 euros that are divided into 67 grants of 150 euros.

Those interested in this aid for material and mobility in training cycles, baccalaureate and university studies, may request them from 15 to 23 October in the Department of Education.

In addition, 5,000 euros will be dedicated to aid of 250 and 500 euros for excellent students who have completed the baccalaureate or who are pursuing university studies, respectively.

Interested parties may request them from October 23 to November 2.

On the other hand, the Department of Education has allocated this year 10,000 euros to the financing of the municipal book bank, coordinated by FAPA Pinatar, which for the 2018-2019 course has managed 1,420 book reserves of primary and secondary, benefiting 220 families of the locality.
