The Councilor for Sports of San Pedro del Pinatar, Javier Castejón, together with the parish priest of the town, Roberto Burgos and José Ángel Pardo, representing the young people of the parish, presented today at a press conference the II Solidarity Games, which They will celebrate on Saturday, September 1, starting at 6:00 p.m., at the municipal sports center.
The Councilor for Sports has praised this initiative, a fun day that encourages family sports, with tournaments for all ages and a convivial dinner to close the event.
For his part, the pastor indicated that the funds raised in this day will be used for pastoral activities and the maintenance and improvement of the buildings of the parish.
In addition, he recalled the success of the first edition last year and has encouraged local residents to participate in these second Solidarity Games.
José Ángel Pardo explained that in this edition include paddle, cross, 3x3 basketball, indoor soccer, beach volleyball and 3x3 football, in addition to the popular race "Pinatar Pork", from 22:00 hours.
He also thanked the sponsorship of dozens of local businesses, as well as the collaboration of individuals in the organization and dissemination of these Solidarity Games.
Registration is priced at 12 euros, which includes T-shirt and barbecue.
