Ciudadanos San Pedro proposes a reduction of the IBI that allows all the neighbors to pay less in their receipts (08/10/2018)

â— The training proposes to reduce the tax rate to 0.61% and compensate the decrease in income with the bonuses currently applied to this tax

â— "We believe that it is time that it is time to start giving back to the neighbors the effort they have endured during the crisis", says the local spokesman, José Luis Ros

Citizens has proposed to reduce to 0.61% the tax rate of the Real Estate Tax -the so-called contribution- to be able to return to the pocket of the neighbors about 200,000 euros.

The proposal, which has been presented by the local orange spokesman, José Luis Ros, "goes beyond the one presented by the local government team of the PP, which remains at 0.63% and only allows to reduce the receipt to a few neighbors. "

The lowering of the tax rate would affect both the urban IBI and the rustic IBI, and would allow to lower all the receipts.

The reduction of the income of the Consistory -fixed at almost 200,000 euros- would be compensated by eliminating the 50,000 euros budgeted as an increase in revenue by the Government team, and the other 150,000 euros would come from the provisions of the bonuses to the five local taxes.

Ros says that "in Citizens we prefer a drop that contemplates all neighbors equally than one that leaves some out, because we have all suffered the effects of the crisis equally and we believe it is time to start returning this effort through a tax reduction ".

The orange spokesman has criticized that the PP "sell as if it were a motorcycle a tax cut that in fact only benefits a few and even going to suppose the City increased collection.

What the PP is doing is to deepen inequalities and cultivate electoral grounds seven months before the elections ".

Ros also considers misleading that the PP only announce this year this "supposed lowering of the IBI and leave the other four local taxes, rates and public prices at the same level of fiscal pressure we bear, the highest in the Region."

"We believe that there is room to reduce this fiscal pressure, especially if it is cut from the superfluous and managed well," he added.
