These actions are included in the investment plan for the year 2018, aimed at improving urban roads and public spaces, neighborhoods and districts of the town.
The municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar has carried out during the last weeks asphalting and conditioning of the road in several roads of the town, both in neighborhoods and in the urban core and rural roads.
The Councilor for Community Services, Angela Gaona, explained that 40,000 euros have been invested in these asphalting works in the old neighborhood of Los Antolinos, next to the municipal sports center, areas of the neighborhoods of Los Tárragas and Las Esperanzas, and the streets of the center urban Mayor José García and Doctor Bernabéu Gadea.
The councilor indicated that in these works has prioritized the most deteriorated roads and is in the process of contracting a much wider action, worth approximately 500,000 euros, which will involve the renewal of asphalt on dozens of streets in the municipality.
In addition, he recalled that this action complements the remodeling and replacement of sidewalks that in the last quarter of the year has been made in various areas of the town.
These actions aim to ensure the safety of road traffic and pedestrians, while making the streets of San Pedro del Pinatar more accessible and accessible.
