300 participants from all the Autonomous Communities in the I Open Mar Menor 2019 darts (10/02/2019)

The municipal tent located in the esplanade of Lo Pagán, has housed this championship that aims to become a benchmark in the world of darts in the Levante area.

San Pedro del Pinatar has hosted the celebration of the I Open Mar Menor Darts, which was held on Saturday, February 9, in the municipal tent located on the esplanade of Lo Pagán and in which some 300 players from 17 have participated. Spanish Autonomous Communities, accompanied by relatives and fans of this sport.

The tournament is unique in the area of ​​Levante and has had one of the best systems of electronic targets and in which competitors have been able to follow the results immediately through a mobile application.

The championship has included competitions in Master, Second and Feminine categories, with 3,500 euros in scholarships as a prize, as well as a trophy for the first four classified in each category.

The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez and the Councilor for Sports, Javier Castejón, visited the venue in full competition, showing their support for initiatives such as this, which contributes to expanding the schedule of activities and meetings in low season in Lo Pagán , with the objective of the deseasonalization of tourism in this coastal area.

During the visit they were given by the organizers with some commemorative t-shirts of the event.
