The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, today announced the complete remodeling of the regional highway RM-F32, which connects the urban center of San Pedro del Pinatar with the beach of Lo Pagán, to which an approximate budget of 1 will be allocated. , 5 million euros.
During his visit to the municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar, where he chaired the meeting of the Governing Council, stressed that this action "was a vindication of the neighbors and the mayor, Visitation Martinez, as well as a need due to the large influx of people that travel through this area, especially in the most tourist times ".
To this end, both administrations will sign a collaboration agreement by virtue of which the regional government will carry out the works of remodeling the road and then transfer it to the consistory, since its layout runs through the urban area.
López Miras assured that the project is already being prepared to undertake this action, which will consist of the resurfacing of the entire road, with a total length of 2.5 kilometers that runs between the national N-332 and the Puntica beach, "with in order to improve the safety of the 5,000 daily drivers who travel on this road. "
In addition, the remodeling of the sidewalks will be included to improve the safe transit of pedestrians and the conditions of visibility at the crossings, as well as the traffic lights and the existing bus stops.
To these works will be added the renewal of the vertical and horizontal signage and the crossings of the supply and sanitation infrastructures.
