The municipal tent located in the esplanade of Lo Pagán, hosted on the afternoon of Saturday, March 23, the inauguration of the XXXII Cultural Week of the Peña el Caldero that will last until the 30th with other activities.
The Cultural Week, which pays homage to the traditions and regional folklore started with the performance of the youth group that danced with children for the first time, after them the owner of the Peña "El Pinar" and the official inauguration by the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar.
Afterwards, the Juvenile and Children's Reigns and their Courts of Honor were elected.
The Youthful Reign was composed by María Vera Peñalver as Reina and Almudena Delgado Sánchez and Claudia López Fernández as Ladies, while in the Infantile Reign, the fortune smiled on Sonia García Alvarado as Reina and Valentina Alacid Gómez and Irene Esparza González as Ladies.
Today Sunday at noon, in the San Juan hall of the town, the Gastronomic Days and the Member's Day are celebrated with dishes and desserts typical of the Region, the gastronomic contest, in addition to bouncy castle and children's games for the little ones and a Bingo with numerous gifts, as well as, the start of the traditional games championship.
The closing of the Cultural Week of the Peña El Caldero will be next Saturday March 30 and will feature the performance of Pacifier Groups, Peques, Children's "El Pinar" and trophy delivery.
