The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, reminded the spokesman of Citizens that the retribution received is the same as eight years ago approved the Plenary Session of the City Council, with the vote in favor of the spokesman for Citizens.
The mayor recalled that already in 2011 there was a 25% reduction in his salary with respect to the one set in 2007 by the former socialist mayor, a salary that remained in 2015.
Likewise, with the change of government, a reduction of 35 percent was made in government bodies, with fewer councilors released and positions of advisers.
Visitación Martínez criticized the "incoherence and opportunism of the Citizens spokesperson, who eight years ago congratulated the government team for the effort made and approved these rewards of which it now pretends to be scandalized."
