The Minister of Family and Equal Opportunities, Violante Tomás, accompanied by the Mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, visited the residence 'Villademar' and attended the presentation of the new summer letter for residents and their families.
"Activities like this allow the family to know the effort of the centers and the Administration in the care of our elders," said Violante Tomas, who added that "being able to check how the menus are assiduously helps families to be calmer and have a more fluid relationship with the residence where they are served. "
The residence of elderly people 'Villademar' in San Pedro del Pinatar, dependent of the Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS), has 126 places of which 103 are arranged by the Community.
The Villademar residence also caters for elderly people with mental health problems and provides a service as a middle care hospital.
