The program for Christmas 2019-2020 includes more than 50 activities for all audiences and moves most of them to the central Plaza de la Constitución.
The councilor of Festejos, Javier Castejón, today presented the Christmas program in San Pedro del Pinatar, which includes more than 50 activities from this bridge of the Constitution until next January 12.
This year the epicenter of the activities will focus on the Plaza de la Constitución, where the municipal nativity scene will be located, which opens tonight, in a renovated tent to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
Also in this square the Santa Claus House and the town of Christmas will be located, with workshops and activities for the little ones since December 20.
The "Christmas Fantasy" parade, with Santa Claus, which is celebrated on December 23, and the traditional Three Kings parade on January 5, will also end in the Constitution Square.
For the second year, Children's New Year's Eve will also be held at this location on December 31.
Another of the key scenarios will again be the municipal tent, with storytelling, workshops, musicals such as "Aladdin, in charge of the Peña El Caldero, the Drilo Gang Show, or the Magic Dreams show, school carol contest , multi adventure day, etc.
There will also be a place for a more adult audience with the screening of the documentary "Memories Crossed", on December 15, in the municipal tent, the First Christmas Collecting Fair, in the Plaza de la Constitución, the Union Christmas concert Musical, on December 29 or the first Pinatarense Commerce gala, on January 3.
In addition to the extensive programming, showcase and nativity scene competitions are consolidated, with which they intend to preserve traditions and encourage local commerce.
The winners, who will have the jury commission as parties, will receive prizes between 100 and 250 euros.
The Councilor of Celebrations, Javier Castejón, thanked the work of the various departments involved in this program, in addition to the involvement of various groups and local associations that complete these programs such as pensioner homes, Housewives, etc.
