The Department of Citizen Participation promotes this initiative through the Bank of Pinatarense Wisdom and the collaboration with the Aike Cultural Association, in charge of the audiovisual project that in its sixth installment includes the stories of Guillermo Soriano, Mari Luz Pardo, Antonio Escarabajal and Mari Carmen Hernandez

The Councilor for Citizen Participation, Zoilo Ballester, together with the municipal technician responsible for this initiative, Eva González, today presented the sixth edition of the documentary "Memories Crusades", a project of the Bank of Wisdom Pinatarense, in collaboration with the association AIKE Cultural.

The mayor recalled that this initiative emerged to honor the elders of the municipality for the celebration in 2012 of the European Year of Intergenerationality and Active Aging and with the aim of treasuring the oral sources of the recent history of San Pedro del Pinatar.

Thus, the bank brings together the vital experience and wisdom treasured by the Pinatareans in order to recover that oral history, key to understanding the development of the municipality.

This project already has the participation of 28 protagonists who have generously yielded their memory and their life history.

On the other hand, Eva González, has indicated that the elders who participate in this fourth installment of the documentary, which will be screened next Sunday, December 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal tent, are Guillermo Soriano, a well-known worker of a savings bank for decades that, among other experiences, will tell how this sector or leisure time has changed with classmates or Comino cinema.

Also participating in this documentary is Mari Luz Pardo, who runs a famous kiosk of churros from Lo Pagán and will review memories of her childhood and adolescence, such as the veil at Mass or the embroidery workshop of Dońa Pura.

The other male protagonist of this edition will be Antonio Escarabajal, a worker in the construction sector, who arrived after receiving night classes at an academy that combined with the hard work in the field.

This edition of Memories Crusades also includes the experiences of Mari Carmen Hernández Arenas, who recalls her childhood in Los Sáez, at Dońa Josefina's school, parties and the close relationship between neighbors.

The sixth edition of Crossed Memories will be screened next Sunday, December 15, at 7:30 p.m., in the municipal tent, located at the fairgrounds.
