From the Special Police Unit Tutor San Pedro del Pinatar is to reach the consciousness of youth on the importance of proper behavior when they function as pedestrians, as drivers or passengers of vehicles in order to know the signaling and respect traffic rules, thus the beginning of the academic year, scheduled a series of lectures on road safety education courses for all elementary and primary schools all of the municipality.
The theoretical phase of the traffic education program was developed during the first quarter of the school year and in the third quarter, there was the practical phase the Children Traffic Park donated by Provincial.
To engage in a direct way to children, in addition to lectures, audiovisual and practices, the Special Police Unit Tutor, organized the "I demo competition on road safety education for the students of 6 th grade in order to motivate a actively in the contents of the Driver Education.
The main objective was also to strengthen the knowledge of road safety education that the students had acquired after the formation received by the Agents Tutors: Involve children in prevention and traffic safety first, identify areas and safe areas for pedestrians in the town and adopt behaviors and attitudes related to road safety education.
Participating schools were CEIP CEIP The Hopes and The Antolinos.
The mayor, José García Ruiz by the Councillor for Education, Maria José Albaladejo Police and the mayor, Francisco Berenguer, presented the first prize Isabel Cristina Albert tower and CEIP Los Antolinos, the second prize went to Youssef Jabbari, Samuel Jardy Alba Moreno and CEIP The Hope, finally the third prize, also for the CEIP The Hope, was picked up by Leslie and Cory Nichote Arias Castro.
