Summer is for youth and equality in San Pedro del Pinatar.
The local mayor, José García Ruiz, presented with the Youth and Equality Councillor, Carmen Honrubia, the Summer Youth calendar 2010, with the most complete offering of physical activity on the coast of Murcia.
The 14 miles of coastline offer pinatarense entertainment season with a program designed by the Department of Youth, Gender, Trade and Consumer Affairs with the participation of youth associations Mar Menor, Majabuka and G +1.
A comprehensive leisure monitors led by salsa, capoeira, breakdance, belly dance and paintball, among other activities planned for the afternoon workshops on the beach of Lo Pagan.
On the sand will be reinstalled Villananitos tent that will house most of the proceedings.
During the morning, repeat the school remedial classes for children from 5 to 18 years, combined with beach games and toy library of equality, full of animations aimed at encouraging coeducation and equal treatment between men and women since childhood.
For the first time, San Pedro summer also has a dynamic program of gender equality, as the toy library and storytelling for children, workshops on body language and tai chi classes every Wednesday on the beach Villananitos.
Youth of all ages will participate this year in the two days of equality on the coast, on July 23 in Lo Pagan, and 6 August in El Mojon, with gincanas of equality and karaoke against gender violence.
One of the first courses of the summer will be the Fair Youth of the Environment, on 4 July on the Esplanade of Lo Pagan, with the participation of youth organizations throughout Europe, which will be workshops on solar tea, sachets, bags recycled more an example of energy saving and climate change.
On summer nights, on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, include the festivals of the youth association Majabuka, juggling, drums, concerts, movies on the beach, cock fight, monologues and concert singers.
