The Councillor for Education of San Pedro del Pinatar, Guadalupe Garcia, director of the Universidad del Mar (UNIMAR), Raquel Sanchez and co-director of the course, José Meseguer, have today closed the workshop on bioimedicina and quality of life taught this week in the town.
This course of the Universidad del Mar, now in its third edition in the municipality and has been approved as health interest, has moved to the 50 students enrolled updated information on healthy lifestyles and possible biomedical actions that will get quality information adequate health and life.
Also, the course has been a forum for debate and discussion on this aspect, and included a visit to Weirs del Mar Menor, as an example of an unpolluted natural environment.
The Councillor for Education recalled the close relationship between the City and the University del Mar and thanked this institution, as well as course directors, holding this workshop in the municipality, since this is a reference in the Mediterranean regarding health and quality of life.
For its part, the director of the Universidad del Mar has highlighted the collaboration that year after year provides the City to the achievement of courses in the municipality, and also thanked the work of the directors and presenters of the course, and the involvement of the students.
Finally, José Meseguer has highlighted the increase in students over the three editions of the course as well as the level of the speakers, who have taken leading scientific research in the field of biomedicine and quality of life.
