Councillor for Sports of San Pedro del Pinatar, Daniel Perez, met today with representatives of the Club Ciclista Pinatar, Demetrio Pedroza and David Zapata, to address club projects for this course.

This association, which has extensive experience in the city, since it was founded in 1982 and renovated in 2010, prepares various projects for the coming months, which will begin with the seventh gear of coexistence that makes the club and will arrive this year to town of Bullas.

The cycling club pinatar also manages around 115 federal licenses and, new this year, has a team of six riders competing in category CICLOMASTER nationwide.

The memorial Chaplain, who in December will celebrate its tenth seventh edition, is the main event organized by the club, a street race that brings together dozens of bikers in San Pedro del Pinatar.

In this regard, representatives of the club have announced that in coordination with the clubs of San Javier and Los Alcázares, to be created this year the first Copa del Mar Menor, a competition in which participants will be scored in racing the three municipalities, which are held between November and December, and a winner of the three tests will be proclaimed.

Also during the meeting, Councillor for Sports and Pinatar club members have agreed to collaborate on activities and proposals to spread the practice of cycling locally and publicize this club.

The cycling club Pinatar conducts regular departures on Saturdays and Sundays from one of the main entrances to the town, from 08:00 hours, where organized routes of varying difficulty, depending on the level of runners and are open to welcome anyone who wants to know the road cycling closely and accompany them on one of these outings.
