The Association of Families and Women in Rural Areas in the region, AFAMMER, in collaboration with the Department of Equality, gives the months of September and October the course "geriatric care to people at home" aimed at unemployed women.
A total of 17 women, aged between 25 and 59 years, mostly with primary studies, conducted this course of 70 hours, which opened today, 12 September and has 70 teaching hours, until next October 11.
This title belongs to the professional family of Sanitation and Health, it is approved by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality and is taught at the Center for Social Services, Women and Equality Agustina Santiago.
The course aims to equip students with the necessary skills to help in the geriatric field for dependents at home, training in the implementation of strategies and procedures for maintaining and improving personal autonomy and relations with the environment of the people served.
And provide skills to students in the care and attention of people at home, for better entry into the labor market.
