The Department of Sports and the Catholic University San Antonio UCAM will coordinate the celebration of this sporting event, which will coincide with the IX Marina Salinas Triathlon.

The Councilor for Sports, Daniel Perez, the General Director of Sports of the UCAM, Pablo Rosique, together with the Olympic medalist David Cal, today concluded the collaboration of the two entities for the celebration on 29 April of the Championship of Spain University of Triathlon.

This event will coincide with the 9th Salinas Marine Triathlon, which in this edition will be regional championship of this modality and that is developed in the vicinity of the port and the Regional Park Salinas and Arenales of San Pedro del Pinatar.

This agreement materializes the interest of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar in its bet to develop national sporting events, and take advantage of the unbeatable location of the municipality that allows the practice of sports in natural environments.
