The Governing Board today approved the bases of the first edition of the design contest of the poster announcing the fiestas of San Pedro del Pinatar, as well as micro-story contests and amateur theater shows.
The local Government Board of San Pedro del Pinatar City Council has today approved, among other points, the bases of the first edition of the design contest on the poster and the cover of the book of patron saint festivities, which will award the children's categories , Up to 14 years, and general.
The contest admits free technique, and will be endowed with a prize of 300 euros for the general category, an image that will be reproduced as a poster and cover of the book of the holidays.
In the children's category will be gifted with a gift valued at 150 euros.
The interested parties will be able to consult the complete bases in the municipal web and the works will have to present until the 28 of April in the council of festejos of the City council.
On the other hand, the bases of the 7th Sample of Amateur Theater of San Pedro del Pinatar have been approved, in which non-professional adult theater groups may participate.
A selection committee will elect a total of three participants and three reserve groups to participate in the aforementioned competition, which will be held on 12, 26 and 27 May at the Casa de la Cultura.
The prizes will be 500 euros and trophy for the best representation, 200 euros and trophy for the second classified, and trophies will also be awarded to the third ranked, the best male performance and the best female performance.
The groups selected for the final will also have a help of 200 euros to cover expenses of diets and travel.

Another of the points discussed in the Board has been the approval of the bases of the fourth contest of micro-stories "La Sal", which is convened annually on the occasion of the Book Day and which consists of a prize of 200 euros for the winner and 100 Euros for the best local author report.
Participants should submit stories of a maximum of 150 words, covering the salt until April 5, via the email cultura@sanpedrodelpinatar.es.
The works must be original and unpublished.
MUNICIPAL PATTERNS
In another point of the day, the local Government Board have approved the standards corresponding to the occupancy rates by weekly market stalls for the second quarter of the year, in which 299 receipts are posted for an amount of 66,113.4 euros.
The municipal register for the 2017 fiscal year of the entrance fee of vehicles or carriages through the sidewalks and the public road reservation, comprising 2,234 receipts and amounting to 135,154.86 euros, has also been approved.
At this point also has been approved the register for 2017 of the rate for provision of the service of municipal cemetery, which includes 952 receipts and amounting to the amount of 19,102 euros.
In the area of ​​urban planning, the granting of licenses for major construction work has been approved for the construction of six houses.

Among other points, the Board has also approved the granting of financial assistance to address situations of need, for a total amount of 1503.82 euros, which will benefit four residents of the town.
