The Mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, accompanied by the FCC provincial delegate in Alicante and Murcia, Fernando de Mateo, today presented the prizes of the Ecolimpia campaign, which this company has developed in collaboration with the City Council in schools Villa Alegria, Las Esperanzas, Los Antolinos, Nuestra Señora del Carmen and Los Pinos.
The mayor explained that this awareness campaign on recycling aims to raise awareness and attitudes in school children about the importance of correctly separating the different types of packaging at source.
For his part, Fernando de Mateo has emphasized the importance of this type of campaigns of environmental awareness and thanked the reception by the educational community of San Pedro del Pinatar.
Through this, students have been informed of how to reduce waste, types of waste, how to separate them, their destination and the environmental benefits of recycling, among other topics.
After the talks, the children have illustrated, through drawings and illustrations, information on the importance of recycling.
The first prize, equipped with a tablet for the student and another for the school, has been for Pablo Pérez Samper (CBM Los Antolinos).
While the second prize, a bicycle, went to Montserrat Moriana (CBM Los Pinos) and the third prize, a sound tower, was for Naima Kasmi (CBM Nuestra Señora del Carmen).
The final works have been done by Marta Albaladejo (CBM Los Antolinos), Eva Vaquerizo (CBM Los Pinos), Elena Vicente (CBM Los Pinos), Celia Payá (CBM Villa Alegría), Fatima Essalni (CBM Nuestra Señora del Carmen), Ayelen Gómez (CBM Los Pinos), Irache Castejón (CBM Los Antolinos), Noelia Nicolás (CBM Villa Alegría), Wiam Bikich (CBM Las Esperanzas) and Alejandro Torrano (CBM Los Pinos).
