The Fishermen's Guild of San Pedro del Pinatar, on the occasion of the celebration of the 125th Anniversary of the Pilgrimage of the Virgin of Carmen, held during the conference on Friday 14 and Saturday July 15, a series of activities with the Purpose of recovering and showing, both traditions, as well as the day-to-day work related to local fishermen.
During these days, there have been guided visits to the fish market, where the attendees, who have completed the quota in both days, have known the daily work there, the traditional fishing gear and others Themes that have been shown thanks to the Brotherhood.
In addition they have been able to taste the typical Mar Menor dish, the cauldron, prepared for the occasion by the fishermen of San Pedro del Pinatar.
During the day of Saturday, has also recovered the traditional cucaña that has delighted the intrepid participants and numerous curious who have approached to the pier where this tradition has been rescued in the municipality.
Tomorrow Sunday, feast of the Virgin of Carmen, the Fishermen's Guild also participates in the scheduled events.
