The beach of Villananitos has been the scene of these tournaments that have faced the best autonomic selections of beach soccer in Spain, such as Murcia, Baleares, Valencian Community, Andalusia, Extremadura, Cantabria, Catalonia, Castilla La Mancha, Basque Country, Ceuta And Melilla.
For 4 days, the Villananitos beach has been the scene of the Spanish Senior and Youth Soccer Championships that have faced the best regional selections of this sport, such as Murcia, Baleares, Valencian Community, Andalusia, Extremadura, Cantabria, Catalonia, Castilla La Mancha, Basque Country, Ceuta and Melilla.
In the senior category Andalusia, one of the favorites, won the victory after beating on penalties to the combined Melilla.
The final was also repeated in the youth category, but this time, the North African team had more success and managed to lift the trophy for the third time.
The Department of Sports of San Pedro del Pinatar is still committed to promoting sports on the beach as another tourist attraction.
This same stage will receive the last weekend of July the championships of Spain of territorial selections feminine and masculine cadet, which is translated in the presence of 18 regional selections in San Pedro of the Pinatar during this month and more than 1,000 direct overnight stays in Hotel establishments of the locality in two weekends.
The championships are organized by Pinatar Arena, the RFEF and the Department of Sports of the Town Hall of San Pedro del Pinatar.
