The Badminton Federation of the Region of Murcia, organizes this championship, which will take place on Sunday, September 10, on the sports beach of Villananitos and which has the collaboration of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar.
The Councilor for Sports of San Pedro del Pinatar, Daniel Pérez, and the president of the Federation of Badminton of the Region of Murcia, Pedro M. Caparrós, today presented at a press conference the 1st Regional Circuit Badminton beach, which will begin the next Sunday, September 10, at 17:00 hours on the beach of Villananitos.
Daniel Pérez has pointed out that this test is one more sample of the council's commitment to diversify the sports offer and bring people closer to less known modes, as well as optimize the facilities that the City Council has, such as the space on the sports beach of Villananitos, that this summer has hosted already important competitions of beach soccer, beach volley, etc.
For his part, Caparrós explained that the federation has driven for the first time this circuit, which will start next Sunday in San Pedro del Pinatar and will be completed in October in San Javier, although the goal is to expand it next year to the entire coast of Murcia.
Caparrós has explained that the modality of the championship will be mixed doubles, being winner of each match the best of 3 set.
The inscriptions can be made through the website of the federation www.febamur.es and the price is 10 euros for federated couples and 16 for those who do not have a license.
In addition, a fourth track of free use will be enabled, aiming to bring the sport to the public.
