Aidemar, the association for the integration of the disabled in the Mar Menor region, presented its new 2018 calendar on Friday night.

On this occasion, the calendar has been made using different spaces and places of San Pedro del Pinatar, in which the users of the centers of the association are the protagonists of the photographs that illustrate the pages the different months.

The event was opened by Paco Vidal, Director of the Aidemar Occupational Center in San Pedro del Pinatar, who thanked the City Council and the Council for Citizen Participation for their support to carry out this project.

Vidal, also thanked other collaborators and sponsors, the selfless work of the photographers, Paco Riquelme, Mar Sáez, Ramón Núñez, José Luis Villaescusa, Elena Sol, Alejandra Olmos, Silvia Martínez, Frutos Molina, Fernando Vicente, David Flores, Mariola Ferrer and María Castejón, who have made this idea a reality that will be available in any of the Aidemar centers from next November 20th.

Next, the President of the association, Paco García, was addressed to those present, who recalled the difficulty of carrying out this work with Aidemar's own users, some anecdotes during the work, and stressed, that among the projects to be developed with the raised, they are, a new multisensory room and sports facilities.

In addition, it announced that throughout 2018 work will begin on the plot ceded by the City Council in March, for the creation of a residence, which will accommodate 68 large dependents and another 90 in a day center.

The ceremony was closed by Visitación Martínez, mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, who thanked Aidemar for having chosen the municipality for the realization of its new calendar, a showcase for the places shown to be known by all, and expressed that she was proud of the fact that The town was also chosen for the creation of the new residence and leisure center.
