Pinatarean school children sing Christmas at the VI School Carols Meeting (15/12/2017)

The municipal tent has gathered about 300 children from seven schools in the municipality who have played several Christmas carols to welcome the Christmas holidays.

Around 300 students from the School of Infant Education No. 1 and the schools Los Antolinos, Maspalomas, Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Villa Alegria, Las Esperanzas and Los Pinos have participated today in the VI Meeting of School Carols, organized by the Department of Education within the framework of the Christmas program.

The children of the Nursery School No. 1 have been responsible for opening this contest with the interpretation of the carol "Jingle Bells", followed by the students of fourth grade of Nuestra Señora del Carmen with "Jesus will be born" and "Despacito navideño" , created by the students of fourth grade of Maspalomas.

The theme "Christmas makes me sing" has been chosen by the students of second grade of Los Pinos, who has followed the carol "Haleluajah", recorded by the children of the fifth year of Las Esperanzas, and "The ox not says ni mu ", also created by the students of first grade of Los Antolinos.

The contest has concluded with "Christmas Tree", of the second grade students of Villa Alegría.

The Councilor for Education, Guadalupe García, has praised the involvement and creativity of the centers, which each year surprise with scenographies, lyrics and more worked compositions and has given a gift to the teachers and directors of the participating centers.

The day has ended with a lunch of buns and chocolate for the little ones.
