Athletes from 17 communities and the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla, have competed this morning in the cross circuit of the municipal sports center of San Pedro del Pinatar, in the Championship of Spain School Age Through Cadet, juvenile and adapted, by regional selections.
Despite the inclement weather, the day has been developed with normality over the scheduled times, opening the competition at 10:30 am, the cadet and adapted female competition, with a distance of 3,000 meters.
Next, the men's cadet and adapted race was played, with 5,000 meters, then the girls' junior, with 4,000 meters, and the male youth category closed, with a distance of 6,000 meters.
After the tests, the trophies were given in which they received a medal, the first three classified in each event, both individually and by regional teams, by the General Director of Sports of the Region, Alonso Gómez and the councilor of Sports of San Pedro del Pinatar, Javier Castejón.
