The esplanade of Lo Pagán hosts, since last Friday and tomorrow, a Roman market where visitors can buy various handicrafts such as food, crafts, jewelry or cosmetics.
During these days the market has had large numbers of visitors, helped by good weather and the holiday weekend.
In the dozen booths set up at Lo Pagan, traders have shown artisanal food, medicinal herbs, natural cosmetic items, handicrafts, handmade jewelry or coats of arms, among other products.
The space also has installed a sample of falconry, with hawks and owls, plus archery displays and performances on the street.
The market is open from 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 22:00, and people who come can also dine in some of the booths in the exhibition which have a terrace.
This activity is part of the commitment of the City Council, through the Department of Culture, extending the leisure offer in the area of Lo Pagan outside the summer period.
In fact, Lo Pagán already has a weekly cultural market on the seafront, opposite the Floridablanca, and the third week of every month hosts the traditional market of La Sal, also on the esplanade.
