The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, José García, today reported on training activities conducted in schools by the local municipal Emergency Service, in collaboration with the Guardian police unit, to train teachers first aid and students in fire prevention and earthquake risk.
José García has highlighted the educational work of the Tutor Unit and the Police Emergency Service, which each year make prevention campaigns in schools in the municipality.
It has highlighted the importance of these monographs, which have focused on fire prevention and earthquake risk for more than 1,570 students and first aid training to 160 teachers.
The police officer Antonio Tárraga Guardian explained that these talks are part of the function of control and help establish safety standards in schools.
