More than thirty of Civil Defence volunteers assist in the removal of jellyfish (23/07/2011)

Members of the group of Civil Defence volunteers and effective municipal Emergency Service have participated voluntarily in the special cleaning operation of jellyfish launched by the City.

A total of 36 personnel, including Emergency Service workers and volunteers from the Civil Protection, participated today in the special cleaning operation this weekend willing to clean jellyfish on the beaches of Villananitos and La Puntica.

This team has made a shock withdrawal from 07:00 to 10:00 am, armed with scoop nets, rakes, shovels and two gear manufactured by themselves.
