BUDGET DEFICIT OVER 3 MILLION EUROS

Martinez explained that the average expenditure in the chapter of personnel is 473 euros per capita in San Javier, compared to 383 euros on average in the municipalities in the region of similar size.

In addition, during the past two years has increased by 58 euros per capita such spending, while in most localities the trend has been downward.

In terms of spending and service, amounted to 12.2 million euros, of which 2.5 million budget had not initially.

On the revenue side, it is noteworthy that the main contribution to the municipality's tax revenues, fees and charges in 2010 reached 14.9 million.

ACTION AND PROPOSALS

The mayor has said that these data corroborate the previous disastrous economic management of local government, despite the critical situation of the City Council in 2010, decided to extend budgets approved two years ago and continued to increase the expense item as debt became unsustainable .
