The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, and representatives of the stationers and bookstores Ler Pinatar, Bow, Different, Range and Lopez, today signed an agreement for the purchase of school supplies for the second cycle of primary education.
The City of San Pedro del Pinatar five township stationers and bookstores today signed an agreement for educational cooperation through which aid is managed 200 50 euros for the purchase of school supplies intended for upperclassmen childhood education.
Thus, the Department of Education allocated $ 10,000 to grants, so that, after being approved applications, will deliver a check to the beneficiary redeemable with attached facilities for school supplies requested by the different schools.
The mayor, Visitation Martinez, explained that the agreement with the stationery is incorporated new this year to ensure the proper use of aid and contribute to the homecoming purchases are made at stationery and bookstores of the municipality.
The mayor also noted that this line is part of the educational assistance program for 2013-2014 course which is endowed with a total of 30,000 euros and which also include mobility 10,000 for undergraduate or vocational training 5,000 euros for students in vocational training or school to pursue their studies in the municipality and 5,000 euros for excellent students who begin university studies.
Applications for all grants will be collected and presented to the Department of Education and within instance will run from 9 to 20 September in aid of children's education, and the 14 to 25 October at the other educational levels.
