The test, which will be held this Sunday at the Natural Park of Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro already has 251 registered for the race of 13.4 kilometers, 93 participants of 7.6 kilometers, and 80 runners in the infant tests.
San Pedro del Pinatar host this Sunday, October 6, the first edition of the popular race Sandpiper 13.4, to be held in the Parque Regional de Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar and will include various tests of different distances and categories .
After the close of entries on-line, the test now has a total of 424 participants, 251 for the 13.4 mile race, where riders will enjoy the uniqueness of the landscape and have main challenge different floor surfaces : pavers, asphalt, dirt and sand.
In the proof of 7.6 kilometers, also in the vicinity of the park and the beaches of the Mediterranean, there have been a total of 93 entries and highlights the high participation in testing children with a total of 80 riders, on four different tests 100 meters, 200 meters, 1,200 meters and 1 mile, to be held at the Marina de Las Salinas, the starting point and goal of all races.
In addition to the sporting event, the Visitor Center has developed Regional Park throughout the weekend a full calendar of side events to mark the World Day of Birds, such as guided tours, children's workshop "Sandpiper often" or Photographic gymkhana "Sendero Las Encaņizas".
To preserve the natural environment in which they develop the tests of 13.4 and 7.6 km, which now number 344 registered, the maximum allowed is 400 runners.
