The Hospital Universitario Los Arcos del Mar Menor receives 10 to October 17 I Socio-Health Week Health Area VIII Mar Menor and Torre Pacheco, involving associations, organizations and local authorities in the area
The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, this morning attended the opening of the First Week Socio-Sanitary Health Area VIII held at University Hospital Los Arcos del Mar Menor with the slogan "I volunteer? and you?.
The event was also attended by the Director General of Planning, Health, Pharmaceutical and Research Health counseling, Jose Antonio Garcia, and the mayors of San Javier and Torre Pacheco, Juan Martinez and Daniel Garcia, respectively.
The fair includes an exhibition area and informative stand on the outside and the lobby of the hospital, in which more than one half of the county associations, along with the municipalities of San Pedro del Pinatar, San Javier, Los Alcazares and Torre Pacheco show their work in the social and healthcare.
In addition to the exhibition area throughout the week will be various presentations and activities like zumba workshops at the heliport of the hospital and a training hospital clowns.
The City of San Pedro del Pinatar presented next Tuesday, October 15th the project "Discover the best of you, get voluntary", developed in the fields of social and civic volunteer.
Local associations also have a major presence at the show.
So, on Monday, October 14 Asenfifa association will give a talk on the research of fibromyalgia and related diseases, and on Tuesday, the association will present Love x Love, dedicated to the collection and distribution of food.
In addition to all Flamenco Association held an intergenerational activity during decommissioning.
The CEO Jose Antonio Garcia noted that the purpose of this meeting is to show the need for further work in a coordinated manner in the socio-health between different administrations, patients and their families, as well as partnerships and volunteers.

Associations involved in the sample are Aidemar, AFEM, Prometheus, Help Murcia Mar Menor, Help at Home, The Samaritan, Love x Love, Diabetic Association of Torre Pacheco, ADA + HI, Asenfifa, EAPS, Tio-Vivo Foundation, Red Cross North Mar Menor, San Javier Civil Protection, Caritas and Spanish Association Against Cancer.
