On January 30, the second session was held on school mediation within EME project designed by the Association of University Graduates in Social Education EducoYa.
The project, with the cooperation of the Obra Social "La Caixa" and driven by the Office of La Caixa de Santiago de la Ribera, aims to promote and publicize the benefits of mediation in schools at different educational Centres region of Mar Menor.
In this second session aspects of verbal and nonverbal communication so that children know from an early age the importance of communication, its elements, channels, context and the barriers that can result in some interference is treated the when transmitting information.
It also showed the importance of communication with gestures, face, movement, ... and worked with practical activities where students and school mediators future CEIP Hopes of San Pedro del Pinatar participated.
From here, / as Educator / Social Mediators as Project and, recommend to parents the importance of teaching our children / as certain skills from very tiny as assertive communication, listening and empathy when they are older they will use these skills as a normal part of their development and maturity allowed to meet in a much healthier way.
