Uncomfortable Issues and dance duet Philip and Mary, winners of the Talent Contest III (08/06/2014)

San Pedro del Pinatar last night hosted the final of this competition, framed in Bando Pinatarense III and the jury decided to proclaim the winner in the music category Uncomfortable Topics group, while in the category of dance pairing of Philip and Mary They picked up the first prize.

The Talent Contest III of San Pedro del Pinatar, organized by the Department of Youth and the Union of Entrepreneurs pinatarenses partnership ended last night with the final, after a previous phase in which 30 participants showed their skills on stage in categories of music and dancing and shows.

This contest is part of the III Pinatarense Bando, an initiative that unites the local cuisine, entertainment and shows taking place for three years to coincide with the celebration of the Day of the Region and serves as a prelude to the festivities of 2014.

The final contest started around 22:00 pm with a performance by Gate 8, winners in the last edition, then took the stage the 15 selected in the semifinals held on Thursday and Friday.

This gala highlighted by the quality and variety of participants, as the large audience could enjoy different musical styles and varieties in the performances of music and dance for the first time this year were valued in two different categories, thus extending the awards by the jury.

Uncomfortable Topics The winning group was responsible for breaking the ice with a first performance, followed by the home duo Pau and Marle, young Dancer Project, José Luis and Rocio, and dance partner formed by Philip and Mary.

Also took the stage solo Juanqui, small Flemish Pulguitas, Selenia, Ripitas Flamenco, Laura Amorós, Hard Kids group, singers Maria Martinez, Callum Smith and Encrypt, and dancers Urbam Project.

Around 01:00 hours and after the performance of Replay, the jury of the musical composer Pedro Contreras, Sandra Lillo dancer and artistic director Sergio Elias, issued the ruling, giving the first prize in the category musical, worth 600 euros to Uncomfortable Issues, and dancing to the pairing of Philip and Mary.

The second prizes of 300 euros, were for the soloist Callum Smith and Dancer Project group;

while the third prize (200 euros), went to Laura Ripitas Amorós and Flamenco.

The Pinatarense Bando, wherein for five days several stalls offering local produce from the garden and the sea, today host the concert and television Lucia Gil Murcia end tomorrow with products like the protagonists of the various booths dishes.
