The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitacion Martinez, received today at City Hall athlete Lorenzo Albaladejo, who recently revalidated the European runner-up titles in 100 and 200 meter dash in the T38 category at the European Championship Sports adapted from Swansea, held from 19 to 23 August.
Lorenzo Albaladejo and revalidated qualifications obtained in the Netherlands in 2012, the year in which he also participated in the Paralympic Games in London, winning two Olympic diplomas, with the sixth and seventh classification, respectively, in the 100 and 200 meter dash.
The mayor pointed out the hard work of Lorenzo Albaladejo to be at the elite Paralympic Athletics at only 24 years, which makes it an example of perseverance and constancy for many young people.
