The band "Musical Union", celebrates its Silver Jubilee (30/11/2014)

San Pedro del Pinatar, November 30, 2014

The band "Musical Union" in San Pedro del Pinatar, which currently has 125 students, was founded in 1984 with more enthusiasm than means, thanks to the tenacity and perseverance of this small group of music lovers, last night held XXV Anniversary of public presentation, coinciding with the concert in honor of Santa Cecilia.

The event, full of emotion and nostalgia, held at the Church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen in Lo Pagan.

After the words of thanksgiving pastor, Don Justo Mercader, students of last year, thanks to their efforts, have obtained the diploma awarded the prestigious Trinity College London music, distinguished also had recognized the brightest students the year.

Finally, before the master concert in honor of St. Cecilia, the band "Musical Union," honored presidents, Emilio Martínez Pérez, Jorge Martínez Asensio and Dolores Henarejos Garre, President and Chief posthumously, Saura Juan Guillen, directors, Federico Pallardo Sanchis, the secretary, Juan Asensio Lords and teachers, Manuel Mayol Egea and Juan Antonio Martínez Esparza, with their work and enthusiasm, spurred the development of the band.

Also received an award the current President Rafael López belonging to the band since its formation.

Also, "Musical Union" wanted to thank the support over this twenty-five year history, has had the Municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar.

The mayor, Visitation Martinez, who collected the distinction, took the opportunity to thank the recognition and give a news scoop the band since "Musical Union", will participate next February 7, first, in the Regional Contest of Bands "Ciudad de Jumilla".

The event ended with a concert in honor of Santa Cecilia in which the band played 4 songs, an Irish fantasy, Exodus, Night in Granada and popular pasodoble, Sighs of Spain, first song the band played to the delight of the audience, their first concert.
