Capullo de Jerez and Antonio El Pipa honor the memory of the twentieth Shrimp Festival Flamenco de San Pedro del Pinatar (04/06/2015)

The festival, to be held on 4 July in the Parc de la Aduana, will also feature performances by singers Antonio Reyes and Pedro El Granaino and the presence of the daughter of Camarón de la Isla, Gema Monge.

The Councillor for Culture of the City of San Javier, Silvia Egea, and flamenco entrepreneur, Antonio Montoya, today presented the twentieth edition of the Flamenco Festival of San Pedro del Pinatar, in memory of José Monge "Camarón" to be held on 4 July in the Parc de la Aduana.

The mayor of Culture recalled the success of the Festival last year, retaking the prestige that places it as a reference of flamenco at regional level and opening the summer calendar of festivals in the region.

Silvia Egea has especially welcomed the presence in the twentieth birthday of the festival Gema Monge, daughter of Camarón de la Isla Flamenco worldwide reference and which is honored at this event.

On this twentieth edition of the festival recovers the essence of the singer from San Fernando with performances by Miguel Flores, known as Capullo de Jerez, with a great career, Pedro El Granaino, now star of the show Eternal Shrimp, and Antonio Reyes, concerning the Current flamenco.
