More than 1,500 participants will visit Las Salinas and natural beaches under the full moon (30/07/2015)

The second edition of the Full Moon Pinatar night race, which will be held on Saturday, August 1, goes through a journey of more than eight kilometers in the surroundings of Salinas y Arenales Regional Park of San Pedro and beaches.

The Puerto Marina de Las Salinas is hosting this year's night race Pinatar Full Moon Race, which will bring together more than 1,500 runners of all ages under the full moon next Saturday, August 22.

Infant tests, with the participation of 300 runners will start at 20:00 and will take place in the setting of this marina.

The absolute proof, beginning at 22:00 hours, with over eight kilometers and 1,200 enrolled, will also start and finish at Marina de Las Salinas and travel the road of El Puerto, the perimeter road of the Regional Park and beaches El Mojon and Tower Demolished.

This test is consolidated in its second year as the most participatory of the scheduled in the city, surpassing the 1,000 enrolled in its first edition.

The test is included in the Running Challenge Tour, organized by the Athletics Federation of Murcia.

This race, which is part of the popular racing calendar organized by the Department of Sports, aims to promote amateur athletics, while putting the landscape and natural beauty that has San Pedro del Pinatar in value.

Thus, runners can enjoy with the only illumination of the full moon, a unique horizon of the Mediterranean Sea and the salt ponds.
