San Pedro del Pinatar approves property tax reduction and surplus and new tax credits (01/10/2015)

FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO MEET CONDITIONS OF NEED

The plenum also approved the new ordinance of municipal financial assistance to address situations of need, which aims to regulate the financial support of non-recurrent nature to mitigate or resolve situations of social emergency, prevent social exclusion and promote integration.

Thus, this ordinance regulates aid to meet basic needs such as food aid to and for the purchase of drugs;

Baby food and / or diapers;

hygiene products, and displacement because of necessity.

It also regulates aid for holiday residence for the payment of debts arising Aguo consumption or electricity;

to address certain shortcomings of household equipment;

for the purchase, repair or adaptation of glasses;

orthopedics and prosthetic aids;

for special diets;

to meet temporary housing needs and psychosocial rehabilitation, care and urgent situations and serious need that are not covered specifically in the above assumptions.

Through this ordinance regulates and extends aid to people facing situations of dire need, comprehensive care that is already offering from the Department of Social Services but holds fast to this new regulatory framework.

JOINT MOTIONS

It has also adopted two joint motions, endorsed by all the groups that make up the whole (PP, PSOE, C'S WIN and San Pedro).

The first of these motions is directed to that empowers and energizes the airport of San Javier as a fundamental tool in the development of economic and tourism in our town and the region.

Also, councilors pinatarenses have signed a motion for the creation and promotion of a working group and support for people affected by foreclosures, formed by representatives of all local groups and municipal government and PAH, with the assistance of Mortgage Mediation Service of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar.
