The Ministry has already awarded the contract to bring the Secondary School Tárraga Manuel Escribano and performances begin next November
The Minister of Education and Universities, Maria Isabel Sanchez Mora, today announced an investment of 144,443 euros to improve the Secondary School 'Tárraga Manuel Escribano' in San Pedro del Pinatar, after a day working with the mayor, Visitation Martinez, and members of the government team to monitor and plan actions in education in this county.
Sanchez-Mora said that since the Ministry of Education "work to continue promoting educational quality in the region of Murcia, with improvements in all our municipalities."
The Minister of Education, who visited the institutes of Secondary Education 'Manuel Escribano Tárraga' and 'Two Seas', said that "already been awarded the contract to improve the IES 'Manuel Escribano Tárraga', which will begin next November" .
The performances have a deadline of three months and provide for the adaptation of facilities, repair and improvement of the structure in two classrooms.
In this regard, Sanchez Mora said that "keep improving schools in the public network to offer the best conditions in schools and colleges in the region, so we are coordinated with the municipalities to implement the improvements required by the centers."
Another educational developments this year in San Pedro del Pinatar is that it has started operating a new open classroom in the IES 'Manuel Escribano Tárraga', which adds to the existing CEIP Los Pinos.
In this regard, the Ministry of Education and Universities invested 105,200 euros this year to improve the CEIP "Our Lady of Carmen 'with replacement windows to boost eco-efficiency and optimize the thermal and acoustic comfort facilities in developing Children studying Primary education and more than 350 students.
Recently there have also promoted other actions, such as the replacement of metalwork in nursery school No. 1, or the reform of classrooms in the CEIP Los Pinos.
The municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar has 2,717 elementary and primary students, 1,147 secondary and 261 students enrolled this course Bachelor 2015/16.
