Imbernón Ambrose was a beloved resident of San Pedro del Pinatar who spent part of his time designing and building with its deft hands, ship models.
The family gathered in the lobby of City Hall where they received from the Mayor, José García Ruiz, a pedestal with the shield of the Village, thanked one of those models that once the widow, Josefa Imbernón, donated to the Consistory, garnish the side entrance and exposed, as she always wanted Ambrose, in the eyes of the neighbors as was done to mark the centenary of the pilgrimage of the Virgen del Carmen.
Imbernón these ships built with simple tools work, the child began making their own toys and thanks to the marine environment in which he lived this fisherman neighbor of Lo Pagan, the models created for pleasure.
He was the only model ships of the Mar Menor and now his work and his love of the sea is rewarded by this gesture that shows one of his works in the city of San Pedro del Pinatar.
