The Governing Board has approved the tender for the "Modernization and accessibility of the urban center of San Pedro del Pinatar", which includes the creation of a pedestrian area and restricted traffic, formed by the existing space between the squares of Spain and of Constitución, a set of nearby streets of a commercial nature and Avenida Artero Guirao.
The Local Government Board of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar has approved this week, among other points, the tender, through an open procedure, of the works of modernization and accessibility of the urban center, which will have a maximum period of execution of five months, and a total amount of 2.47 million euros, divided into two lots.
Thus, after approval in the Governing Board, the announcement of the tender will be published in the contractor's profile of the City Council so that, within a period of 26 calendar days, interested parties can submit their offers.
PLAN COPLA
In another point of the agenda, the Board has agreed on the call and rules for the hiring of 42 aquatic lifeguards for the rescue and surveillance device on beaches, which will be operational from June 16 to October 9.
SOCIAL SERVICES
The Board has also agreed to the granting of financial aid for the attention of situations of need, for a total amount of 830.94 euros.
TOWN PLANNING
In addition, licenses have been approved for the construction and expansion of nine homes in the town.
