The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitation Martinez, and the chief colonel of the Civil Guard of Murcia, Jesus Arribas, presided over Thursday, May 10, the delivery of medals of the XXVII Judo Championship of the Civil Guard, celebrated in the locality.

The winners of the different categories make up the team that will compete next September in the 42nd National Judo Military Championship.

The event was also attended by the president of the Federation of Judo and Associated Sports of the Region, David Romar, the Councilor for Sports, Javier Castejón, the chief colonel of the medical service of the Civil Guard of Valencia, Andrés Simón and the Colonel of the Army of the Aire, Ramón Pedro Madrid, among other civil and military charges.

After the delivery of medals, the General Secretary of Physical Education and Sports of the Civil Guard, Jesus Marín, presented several gifts to the mayor, the Colonel Chief of the Civil Guard and the President of the Judo Federation, by the organization of this championship.
