This document gathers the contributions of the Association of Pinatarenses Businessmen and has been submitted to a process of citizen participation to collect suggestions from neighbors and merchants.
The City Council of San Pedro del Pinatar has approved in the Governing Board the municipal plan of Support to Trade 2018-2019, under the title "A live trade";
which will be reported in the plenary session in May.
A document that includes commitments and measures by the local administration and the business sector to boost and boost local trade.
This plan aims to improve competitiveness, boost the collective image and help increase the influx of customers to local businesses.
To this end, strategies to boost and improve the business environment are defined, which translate into five lines of action, such as urban space, promotion, animation and commercial loyalty, competitive innovation, process management and professionalization and promotion of Comercial activity.
Thus, the City Council is committed to improving the urban space, favoring the improvement of space in the street for the pedestrian and adapting equipment for the reception of the client;
It will also carry out promotional and loyalty actions, through advertising campaigns, prizes, contests and raffles at different times of the year, as well as actions related to culture, gastronomy and parties, to also encourage the commercial sector.
The consistory will also recognize the work of the most innovative and dynamic businesses and will promote the creation of a Trade Forum, a space of opinion and consensus in which, through work groups, all the agents involved in the commercial activity can participate.
The City Council will continue to support local businesses with administrative and tax simplification measures, such as the elimination of the rate of opening of establishments, bonuses in the capital gain of up to 75 percent, or the reduction of 15 percent in the occupancy tax of public road for installations with annual activity, among others.
Business promotion and training actions are also carried out, through collaboration with INFO and employment and local development agents.
For their part, social agents will also work on these five lines of action through the creation of a commerce portal and a digital commercial directory;
his involvement in promotional campaigns;
the adoption of measures in the area of ​​commercial image, and they will study the creation of a census of empty premises to encourage the rotation of activity.
Merchants' associations will have a role as interlocutor between establishments and the City Council, and will also carry out training, information and advisory actions with businesses, as well as internal communication campaigns.
