The Local Government Board of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar has approved this week, among other points, the selection of the winner of the municipal summer school, which has fallen to the Community Development Institute, for an amount of 34,530.75 euros .
The municipal summer school is held every year in July and August in two public schools in the town, from 09:00 to 14:00, aimed at children from 3 to 12 years.
In addition, in the same meeting has agreed the acceptance of the subsidy of the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities, for the reconciliation of work and family life, amounting to 10,570 euros, for the designated project of the Municipal Summer School .
The assignment of facilities to different sports clubs for the development of campuses and sports schools during the summer period has also been approved.
Thus, these services will provide the 30 7 40 club, with badminton and triathlon campuses;
the CFS Pinatar and Pacote FS Pinatar clubs, with two futsal camps;
a rhythmic gymnastics campus, the Pinatar rhythmic and aesthetic club;
the Pinatar EFB, with a football campus and the San Pedro Sports Center, which will hold a multisport summer school.
RED 'BEACHES WITHOUT SMOKE'
The Governing Board has also approved the adhesion to the regional project 'Beaches without smoke', by which the sports beach of Villananitos, located between the Nautical Club of Lo Pagán to the children's park, will join the network of smoke-free beaches .
According to this pilot project, aimed at the creation of healthier public spaces, improve the environmental quality on the beaches and the health of the population of the Region of Murcia.
This awareness program on the effects of snuff will consist of placement of informative elements in this beach area to promote healthy lifestyles and combat the effects of tobacco consumption, as well as the environmental effects of cigarette butts on the beaches.
CAMPAIGN #YOSICOMPROENSANPEDRO
Among other points, has also approved the bases of the commercial promotion campaign "I do buy in San Pedro", which will run from June 15 to 29, in the framework of the patron saint.
Through this initiative, the City wants to promote and promote small local establishments.
Thus, participants in the campaign must upload on the facebook page of the Department of Commerce a photograph with a ticket to purchase at a local store, accompanied by the #gosicomproensanpedro hastag and the name of the establishment.
Among the participants will be awarded 150, 100 and 50 euros, respectively, to the photographs with more 'like' and 150 euros to trade with more publications.

The Board has also agreed to grant financial assistance for the attention of situations of need, for a total amount of 1071.05 euros.
