The mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, Visitación Martínez, together with the president for more than twenty years of the Brotherhood of San Pedro Apóstol, Alfonso Pérez, the councilor for culture, Silvia Egea and the director of the Museum and president of the Asociación Amigos de The Museums, Marcos David Gracia, inaugurated last night the ethnographic exhibition 'History of the Brotherhood San Pedro Apóstol'.
This sample is composed of more than 40 photographs of the procession of the Apostle Saint Peter, the offering of fruits to the patron saint and the participation in Holy Week of the Brotherhood, from the early twentieth century to the present.
In addition, the confectioners stand out, the original and current flag of the Brotherhood of San Pedro Apóstol, documents and as a central piece of the exhibition, a polychrome clay modeling of the Apostle San Pedro made by the sculptor Sánchez Lozano in 1939.
The exhibition coincides with the town's festivities and can be visited until June 30 in the Temporary Exhibitions Hall of the Baron de Benifayó Municipal Museum.
