The environment of the Villananitos Beach and the Salinas y Arenales Regional Park is the stage where the triathlon final of the "Sport in School Age" program was developed in categories from youngest to youngest.

Thus, more than 300 children have contested this event organized by the General Directorate of Sports and the Department of Sports of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar with the aim of promoting grassroots sports among children and young people.

In the children's category, the participants have traveled 75m to swim in the beach of Villananitos, two km by bicycle and 500m on foot;

in alevín the distances have been 150m, 4km and 1km, respectively, and the participants of categories for children, cadets and youth had to overcome 300m swim, 8km by bike and 2km of race, the sector by bike in the street Campoamor and Avda of El Puerto and the race on foot in the Paseo de la Mota.

The councilor of Sports of San Pedro del Pinatar, Javier Castejón, the general director of Sports of the Community, Alonso Gómez, the president of the Federation of Triathlon, Diego Calvo, have delivered the medals of the final of school triathlon.
